At Persian Rug Galleries, our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to find the rug that's just right for you and your home.
Making it easy for you
We do that first by maintaining close relationships with all the major buyers and distributors of handmade fine Oriental rugs. We know the right people, and we're able to get the right rugs into our showroom. We maintain a large inventory of hundreds of rugs at all times, and that makes it easy for you to find what you're looking for.
We also know that when you're buying a rug, there's no substitute for seeing and feeling a wide variety of patterns, designs, and color schemes in person to help determine what you really want. At Persian Rug, we make it easy for you to look at as many rugs as you'd like. We've recently installed new hanging racks in our remodeled showroom, so examining and comparing even the largest rugs is now as easy as flipping the pages in a very big book.
You won't get a workout
And if you're interesting in browsing through the designs and patterns of the rugs piled in our showroom, relax - you won't break a sweat. No customer at Persian Rug Galleries will ever be asked to join in the chore of moving heavy rugs around our showroom. That's our job. You're in my store to work out which rug you want, not to get a workout.
Our staffers will also spend as much time as you need to answer your questions and help you choose the right rug for the right reasons. We spend an average of six to eight hours with each customer, but it's worth the time to help him or her buy with confidence.
Don't build the roof first
I look at it as our duty to help you understand not only the rug you're buying, but also the impact it can have on your entire interior décor. In most cases, an Oriental rug's timeless beauty and strong character will come to serve as the foundation for many other interior decorating decisions.
I say this not because I'm in the flooring business, but because it's the truth. You don't build your house from the roof down - you build it from the foundation. The same is true with Oriental rugs. They have a way of enduring, no matter what the prevailing style of the times happens to be, and will play an important part of your décor no matter what current fashion dictates.
